The competition is over...
Several companies presented their ideas and plan proposals to the Karlshamn municipality.
Than, our competetors and us, presented our sketches and arrangements for the beautiful area of Tegelbruksviken, on three different occasions to a municipality forum.

We are happy to announce that we have won that competition, which means that together with the municipality, we can fill-in the plans to develop about 13 villas with a strong relation with the sea, nicely integrated into the nature without losing their individual freedom.
Architectural considerations:
Together with our well skilled and experienced partners, we present a number of well designed villas, with an almost natural fit, into the Tegelbruksviken forest at the sea.
Points of departure:
The first challenge for this project was to design a plan on 1.2 ha of land, bordered with a steep slope at the back for the development of 14 individual houses, well integrated into the surrounding nature and a strong relation with the sea at the front door. Modern living also means having privacy, so the buildings had to have their own space, without interfering each other’s living space.
The second challenge was to design villas that could melt into the above criterion, where families could live as pleasant as possible.
The last (but not least) contemplation was the consideration of the environmental impact of this project, both in terms of choice of materials and building techniques and also in terms of environmental pressure when taking up residence.
Residential desire:
At the same time, our future residents, obviously want to enjoy their daily living in its full extent. The combination of all that really made this competition a worthwhile challenge in all its dimensions.
